Here are 5 Reasons Why:

1.  It's A Garden Party Every Day

Rain or shine, our patio is hopping!

2. Ten Days of Live Music

Test out your two-step! Pre-Rodeo Lunch, or skip the office and spend a lazy afternoon on the patio. OPEN MONDAY.

3. The Inside Rail

Our super-swift expedited outdoor bar service that offers a fast lane to seasonal craft cocktails, local brew, and Deane's selection of hand-picked wines, poured with the help of some of Calgary's best importers.

4. Regional Canadian Cuisine

A fresh take on rodeo fare: Fresh shucked oysters, Coffee Glazed Alberta Lamb Ribs, Gin and Juniper house-cured Wild Salmon, and Fried Chicken and Biscuits with fermented Jalapeno. All this and edibles from the on-site gardens.

5. Quick Walk to Indian Village

The prettiest way to the Rodeo - just 5 minutes along the river to the Macdonald Avenue Entry. Indian Village has been a major part of the Calgary Stampede since the inception in 1912. It's a great way for visitors to experience the First Nations traditions and culture firsthand.

Live Jazz Father's Day Weekend
Deane House Inglewood Father's Day Brunch

Deane Summer Jazz Series

We kick off our Summer Jazz Series on Father’s Day Weekend (June 17 & 18, 2017) with live music in the Garden. Taking full advantage of the park-like setting of the restaurant, we have transformed the patio into a weather-proofed performance and dining space which will feature live music throughout the summer. As if Deane House’s Saturday and Sunday Brunch were not reason enough to get out of bed on a weekend, now you can catch some of Calgary’s most talented musicians on the prettiest patio in town!

Deane House sits in the middle of Calgary’s Music Mile, making it the perfect spot to combine good food, good wine and great music. It’s the season to be outdoors -- join us in this beautiful, festive setting to relax with friends and family and celebrate Calgary’s vibrant music scene.

Kicking things off this Father’s Day weekend is the band HAVEN Vanguard, the pioneers behind HAVEN YYC. The ensemble consists of keyboardist Timothonious Alai, bassist Maxwell Mcfadyen and drummer Nathaniel Chiang. With a contemporary fusion of jazz, neo-soul, hip-hop and R&B at their command, the trio delivers an experience centered around the spirit of improvisation and surprise.
