It is a story of the recovery of land and food, of people, and of the power of farming and nourishing others as a way to heal our world and ourselves; one that will inspire Calgarians by providing a clear vision for combining innovative farm methods with concrete social goals, all to create healthier and more resilient communities.

Deane House and Lanigan Edwards Wine Merchants welcome you to an intimate evening in the Library with legendary Portuguese winegrower Luis Pato. It is a rare opportunity to meet and dine with the renowned maverick producer, credited with single-handedly turning around the reputation of Bairrada with his exceptional wines.

Chef Jamie Harling is creating a regionally inspired menu to pair with the acclaimed wines, made exclusively with the indigenous grapes of Bairrada, which are virtually unknown outside of Portugal.
