In 2003 Heidi started JoieFarm, with Michael Dinn, as a humble on-farm cooking school and gastronomic guesthouse in the Okanagan Valley. A trained chef and sommelier who has worked in top Canadian restaurants, Heidi ‘s graceful, aromatic wines are inspired by her fondness for the food-versatile styles of Alsace and Burgundy. Fifteen years of hard work on, JoieFarm has grown in volume from the 800 cases produced in 2004 to 15,000 today. JoieFarm makes wines that consistently have the elegance of Old World wines, yet are expressive of the Naramata Bench cool-climate, lake-moderated desert terroir.
Heidi will lead us in a tasting of a selection of her wines, accompanied by a multi-course menu prepared especially to compliment them.
