Buffalo Bones, hosted by Paul Brandt, is an upscale charitable event at the historic Deane House in Calgary’s Inglewood.
It combines the celebrated Pure West Art & Artifact Auction - Canada’s premier event for contemporary and modern Western art, wildlife works, bronzes, vintage items, and historical artifacts with music, gourmet dining, and philanthropy.

#NotInMyCity, founded by Paul Brandt in 2017, which disrupts human trafficking through awareness, prevention, alliances, and collective action - ensuring exploitation has no place locally (“not in my city”). Funds guide efforts toward the Alberta Centre to End Trafficking in Persons, a community-led initiative focused on disrupting trafficking networks, preventing exploitation, supporting survivors, and fostering recovery through cross-sector collaboration.

The atmosphere fuses Pure West’s lively “Yellowstone-meets-garden-party” vibe, curated live auctions of heritage pieces, live music, West-inspired cocktails, canapés, and Alberta flair with an intimate feast, Brandt’s hosting and meaningful impact. Held at Deane House onTreaty 7 land, it unites art enthusiasts, collectors, music fans, and advocates in an elegant event celebrating Western culture while advancing anti-trafficking efforts province-wide
